This Earth Day we put love at the center, recommitting ourselves to protecting the people, places, and creatures we love. Join us for this multigenerational service.
Unitarian Universalism is not a religion of creeds and right belief; rather it is a religion of deep commitment, covenant, and of practice. We consider some Unitarian history of covenant and community.
Beyond welcoming involves a deeper level of inclusion and involvement, becoming an integral part of a community or society, actively participating and contributing, being one of the threads in its fabric.
Sharing in a participatory tale of the “Twelve Eggs of Easter,” we explore Easter, UU-style. There will also be an egg mandala activity and Easter bag decorating during worship. After church, join in our Easter egg (canned goods) hunt.
No matter what your beliefs are, prayer and meditation can change your brain and your life. Some thoughts on neurotheology and some meditation and prayer.
In 2024, UUJusticePA will continue to pay attention to legislative realities in our Commonwealth. Rev. Joan will share reflections on the important work of UUJusticePA and the upcoming work of UUtheVotePA. Our elections are no longer about a particular election, elected individual, or particular justice
The book and the recent movie, The Color Purple, is our text for this service. It is an inspiring story of both resilience and transformation. I encourage you to see the movie before the service.
