CWS Global has expanded from its Lancaster office to a new sub-office serving within a 100-mile radius around Harrisburg. Its vision is to build a world where there is enough for all, where everyone has food, voice and a safe place to call home. Refugee resettlement in 2023 not only focuses on basic human needs but also orientation, integration and learning self-sufficiency. Erika Juran is CWS Harrisburg’s Development and Communication Officer and a born and raised UU living in Mechanicsburg. She is a storyteller that shares the voice of refugees and is an advocate for anti-racism in the Harrisburg region.
The requirement of masks is based on the current COVID community risk level in Dauphin County. Masks are required for medium or high risk levels; they are optional when the county is in the low risk level. The current level will be posted on the front doors of the church.
