Sunday Service – July 16

CWS Global has expanded from its Lancaster office to a new sub-office serving within a 100-mile radius around Harrisburg. Its vision is to build a world where there is enough for all, where everyone has food, voice and a safe place to call home. Refugee resettlement in 2023 not only focuses on basic human needs but also orientation, integration and learning self-sufficiency. Most importantly, our newest neighbors thrive when they meet their caring community. Come and listen to stories of love into action demonstrating our 1st, 2nd, and 6th principles.

Erika Juran is CWS Harrisburg’s Development and Communication Officer and a born and raised UU living in Mechanicsburg. She is a storyteller that shares the voice of refugees and is an advocate for anti-racism in the Harrisburg region.

The requirement of masks is based on the current COVID community risk level in Dauphin County. Masks are required for medium or high risk levels; they are optional when the county is in the low risk level. The current level will be posted on the front doors of the church.
