Sue Frietsche and Tyler Gillett of the Women’s Law Project will talk about the current struggle for reproductive justice and how important it is to build power at the state level, keeping our spirits up and staying in the fight. They know our PA Equal Rights Amendment (part of the PA Constitution) is a source of power that has been underused. While it prohibits discrimination ‘on the basis of sex,’ the high courts have made it clear that it’s a very broad concept, broader than the traditional view of gender.
